WHAT IS SKILLS USA?
Skills USA is a national nonprofit student organization that serves students enrolled in a career and technical education training program at our nation's public high schools and colleges. Skills USA's mission is to help its members become world class workers and responsible American citizens.
Skills USA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure america has a skilled work force. We help each student excel. This organization serves more 300,000 students and instructors annually, has 13,000 school chapters in 54 states, and more than 14,500 instructors and administrator are professional members of Skills USA.
PROGRAM OF WORK
Skills USA members grow as individuals and discover new abilities by setting their own goals, electing officers and planning and carrying out projects within our school chapters. Our chapter focuses on the needs of our campus and community. The seven areas of our program of work are:

The Phoebus Skills USA officers meet monthly and discuss issues dealing with District 4 business. Officers use parliamentary procedure to conduct meetings and take motions of concern from the floor. The officers also attend District meetings held at various schools in our area as well as attend fundraiser's and skills competition annually.
