DIRECTIONS TO POOLS

• From Phoebus, go down Ireland Street from the teacher parking lot and take a left onto Woodland Road.
• Woodland Road eventually becomes Settler's Landing Road; keep going straight.
• About a third of a mile down the road, take a left onto East Tyler Street into the entrance of Hampton University.
• There should be a stoplight immediately at the entrance of the University; take a a left onto Emancipation Drive.
• Going down the street a bit, you should see Marshall Avenue leading into a big parking lot. Park anywhere in the lot and enter Holland Hall, the big elevated building with the flight of steps next to the parking lot.
• Go down the corridor and the pool should be visible to your left.

*Note that all swimmers must take a bus to and from Midtown Pool from Phoebus High School at meets.

• From Phoebus, go down Ireland Street from the teacher parking lot and take a left onto Woodland Road.
• Woodland Road eventually becomes Settler's Landing Road; keep going straight.
• Take the entrance ramp onto Interstate-64 going west going towards Williamsburg/Richmond.
• Merge onto West Mercury Blvd. Southbound towards the James River Bridge via Exit 263A.
• Take a right onto Jefferson Avenue after about five miles.
• Take a left onto MacLawhorne Drive; you should see a sign pointing to Midtown Community Center at this intersection.
• Park anywhere in the back; the pool is inside the Community Center.

** Swimmers will only swim at Bayside if they make the Tidewater Regional Swim Meet. Transportation will be provided by the school for these swimmers.

• From Phoebus, go down Ireland Street from the teacher parking lot and take a left onto Woodland Road.
• Woodland Road eventually becomes Settler's Landing Road; keep going straight.
• Take the entrance ramp onto Interstate-64 going east towards Norfolk/Virginia Beach; the ramp should be on your left.
• Merge onto Route 13/N. Northampton Blvd. going towards the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel via Exit 282.
• Take a right onto Pleasure House Road.
• Take a left onto First Court Road.
• The community center should appear on your right; park anywhere in the lot and head in.
