Phoebus High School and Thomas Nelson Community College offers several courses for college credit. Not all CTE (Career and Technical Education) classes have dual enrollment opportunities. First the course is approved and then the instructor obtains certification to teach the dual enrollment course. Listed below are the courses and instructors that offer Dual Enrollment opportunities.

There are three steps to complete for Dual Enrollment college credit. (Please see the "Student Dual Enrollment" flyer for more in-depth explanations).
1.) Application: Students apply to Thomas Nelson Community College. Students only apply one time during their high school education. So, if you applied during a previous year, you will not do this step again. You need your TNCC student ID number.
2.) Testing: Testing will take place at PHS on the dates and times below. You may call Thomas Nelson Community College and have your child test at the main campus if you wish, but please let your teacher you tested there. ALL testing must completed by 5:00pm on Tuesday, September 15th.

3.) Registration: You will receive a registration form from your teacher during your first day of class. Only those students that have returned their registration form, and tuition will be scheduled for testing.
TUITION: The tuition cost is $15 per credit hour. All of the Dual Enrollment courses offered at PHS this year are 3 credit courses; which makes the tuition total of $45 (3 x $15). Only checks and money orders are accepted (no cash) and should be made payable to "TNCC."
**ALL STEPS MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED BY TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15**
